How to use GoodDay with Purple Dot

Connecting Purple Dot to GoodDay lets you turn on pre-order automation.

With pre-order automation, waitlists are created directly from your purchase orders - while you maintain full control.

To establish this connection

  1. Visit the Integrations settings page in the Merchant Portal and click Connect on the GoodDay card.

    • You will need an API key from GoodDay. To create API credentials in GoodDay:

      • Go to Settings → API tokens and click Create token

      • Select the read:purchase_orders and read:locations scopes

      • Copy the token - GoodDay only shows it once - and paste it on Purple Dot end

  2. Visit the Pre-order Automation settings page in the Merchant Portal to complete the onboarding process.
